Officially....

Unpregnant

Seems like I'm either waiting for the two lines to appear or waiting for them to disappear...doesn't it?

I'm happy to be running again.
I'm happy to be doctor appointment free for the next few weeks.
I'm happy that I decided not to track my hcg so I don't have to analyze my numbers going down.
I'm happy fall is here (stay away Chicago winter)...

It's been four weeks since my d and c. My period should come in the next two weeks and I have to call my nurse next week to check in. When it does we will be full steam ahead.

Four weeks ago. I feel like it takes so long to reset my body/hormones but I'm trucking along nicely.

Just enjoying life.

And waiting for the chance to see those two lines of hope once again...

  3. You'd think we'd be good at waiting by now. Not so much. I'm glad that you will be moving forward soon. Having that to look forward to is so, so important.

  4. Glad the hcg is finally GONE and that you can now think about moving forward! And glad you are running too. It makes stress so much more manageable! A good run followed by a good beer is my preferred treatment for the blues. :)

    Thinking of you lots, friend!!

  7. The waiting to get back in the game can be hard, but so can BEING in the game. I always tried to make the most of the forced breaks - if i can't do anything fertility related right now, then I am sure as shit going to live it up with all the things I don't like to do while TTC - booze, massages, runs, bad food. Do whatever you need to nurture yourself and restore strength for the trials ahead. Of course i hope you have only easy smooth sailing ahead but... let's not taunt the universe :)

  8. Definitely a bittersweet sight. The only time in our lives that we actually pray for the test to be negative! Glad you are running and appointment free for a few weeks. Enjoy the lovely early fall weather and hopefully your period will decide to show up soon!

  9. It is so strange to want the second line to go away already, huh? I'm glad to hear your body is resetting and you're doing ok.

  10. I completely agree. Immediately after both losses I felt as if it would take aaagggeeesss to start to cycle again, but really it moves pretty quickly. I'm glad things are trucking along for you!

  11. I am so sorry that it took this long for you. No matter if you are expecting it or not AF sucks and is another reminder that you still are not pregnant. I HATE that. Sending so many thoughts your way. Glad you are doing okay. Hugs!

  12. I am so glad you are running again, Joy life..... I know this is all an amazing pain, but you are going through this with grace.... xoxo Lovely lady... keep running you are amazing and you will get through this - just like I will some day, we are all going to be amazing mums so day, somebody recently told me that because we have waiting and lost and have been through so much to be mum that we are twice as patient as a mother who easily gets pregnant, so if i do my math right... that makes us like 4x and 6x better mums!! Right? One child (or many) could only be so lucky to have us as a mum... Just saying.
hang in there lady, you can do this just like I can....

  15. Thanks for the encouragement regarding the same statistics. Looks like our RE's read the same article. I also was told to start the QA10... I forgot about that. I'm glad to hear we've got the same info given our parallel histories!
